AUGUST 2008
Seems it's been quite awhile since I've written here. I didn't realize just how long it'd been until we started redesigning the website. If you're our friend on MySpace you've heard from us here and there, but I'm afraid we've been neglecting our website. I humbly apologize and promise we'll try to keep up here more often! I hope you like the new web design. It's a lot different than it was before, but we felt we were seriously overdue for an upgrade. Plus now you can see all of the items in our merch store displayed on our site, and we have links to several places where our music is for sale. Don't be shy; click the links; buy our stuff!

It's been a long year here in the undead zone. Among other things that have happened, both Nate and I lost people very close to us in the past few months and it has made focusing on the band very difficult at times. Losing people we love was devastating for both of us, making us question pretty much everything, but it also helped us to see what is truly important in our lives. After a lot of soul searching we seem to have found a way to re-animate ourselves as we're starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel. We've written some new songs and have ideas for several others, we have a title for our full-length album, plus we've got a pretty good grasp on the cover design. YAY!

One very happy thing that happened this year is Kurt's return to our lives. For those of you who don't know, Kurt's our old drummer whom we parted ways with nearly 2 years ago. We're not sure what's going to happen there, but it's nice to have a live drummer around again. Vlad is good, but he tends to be a little stiff :)

JANUARY 2008
2008 is here and after working night and day for most of the month of December recording and self-producing our album, we're very excited to announce the release of our much anticipated debut EP!!!

"The Dream Cycle EP" is about just that, the dream cycle. The whole cycle begins with Get Off The Stage, describing my personal ordeal in trying to be a rock singer/guitarist in a male dominated industry and the tremendous amount of opposition I've encountered. The anxiety that resulted for both myself and Nate leads us down the twisted and unpredictable pathways of the human mind as we enter the dream cycle.

Faded is all about the dream, and how it seems to be so much more inviting than the reality, but once we fully embrace Dreamland the once beautiful fantasy turns into an inescapable nightmare. Fully engulfed in the nightmare, Day After Never describes the powerlessness and dread we feel when the nightmare seems to become the reality. But like the mythical phoenix rising From The Ashes, we are then brought to the realization that we make our own destiny. Rather than surrendering to fear and self-doubt, we must raise ourselves up and say, I Could, because the only ones who can ever really make our dreams come true are staring back at us in the mirror.

"The Dream Cycle EP" can be purchased from CDBaby & iTunes and will soon be available all over the web, even as ringtones for your cell phone!
